Just a note to say Thank You again.  Four more rounds and the Straight hits just keep on coming!  Beginning to see an increase in distance as well.  Average has dropped six strokes.  Renewed confidence is helping with my other clubs too.

Dear Don:

I know you think I forgot, but thats not true. I am a result orientated person and I took the time to play with my new clubs to determine if in fact they would really improve my game.

First and foremost Don, I have been fitted at big box stores and I have to tell you they did nothing like we did at the fitting.

Don, I am here to tell the world this was the best thing I have ever done since taking up the game of golf. I know and can see the results of all the work and preparation put into the fittings for the driver, irons and last but not least the putter.

I have to admit that you were correct about all of it. I have shaved 4 strokes a game off and thats just with the putter. My fellow golfers all comment on my ability to keep the driver in play without any loss off distance. It also makes it so much easier when you know exactly how far your ball will carry when playing over hazzards.

Now the biggest change of all has come from my irons, I am so much more accurate and consistent and my misses are a lot closer causing more pars and even birdies. I also have to thank you for your recommendation about the hybrid 4 and 5 irons, best decision made was to go with them.

Don, in closing all I can say is with your expertise you put the fun back in golf.

I am extremely satisfied with the entire set of clubs that you built for me and words cannot describe the enjoyment I once again have for the game.  I was so frustrated with my old set of clubs that I almost had given up hope of ever playing a good round of golf again.  My old set of clubs were so mismatched for my swing it’s a wonder I was able to break a 100.  I was so inconsistent I could not figure out what had happened to my overall game.

I had decided that one day I would try to get a set of clubs custom made but that day never seemed to materialize.  Finally I had had enough and I decided to find a custom club maker.  I had never previously heard of you and only had information about you from your website.  Your years of experience convinced me to check you out over a more local club maker in Missouri.

Your knowledge about the swing was evident from my first putter and iron fitting.  I know it wasn’t pretty (my swing) but somehow you gathered all of the information you needed (I still don’t know how) but you made recommendations on shaft and head style.  You built a 7 iron for me to try to make sure we were on target.  It took me awhile to get my swing together but it was evident that the new club was just what was needed.  I hit it better than any club I had in the bag and I even joked with my friends that it was the only club I would use to play a round of 18 holes.  I couldn’t wait to get the rest of the set but the wait was worth it!!! 

My new clubs are a mixed set that I just love; Wishon Driver and Fairway Woods with Aldila NVS shafts, Wishon 3 & 4 hybrids with Wishon shafts, Infinity 5-PW irons with KBS shafts and Scratch Wedges (Gap and Sand) with FST High Rev shafts.  My first round of 18 I shot 79 and had not shot in the 70’s for 3 or more years.  I continue to get used to the new clubs and I can say that I have not hit the ball as far or as straight for more than ten years.  Am I satisfied?  Absolutely!!

Just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks for the work.  The Mac 1025M’s you built with KBS shafts are tremendous.  While my short game isn’t back yet, my iron play has allowed me to hang around par.

The KBS shafts are fantastic and have given me a high, flat ball flight with tight dispersion.  It’s fun hitting a 200+ yard shots that sits down within 10 feet of the ballmark.�

The entire set that you made for me are perfect. I can tell a dramatic difference between the MOI and traditional swing weighting, and the MOI is definitely the way to go and is well worth the cost.
The only thing that has surprised me is the increase in distance of about 5-7 yards (1/2 club) in my irons. I wasn’t expecting that much of an increase, but it seems to be a consistent increase in all of my irons. Is this a result of going to a little softer shaft than I had in my previous set, or from the MOI, or both? The driver and 3 wood are longer too, and much more consistent. The 2 iron hybrid which has the Dynamic Gold shaft has a softer feel, and the trajectory is a little higher than the rest of the set, but it is perfect for the application in which I utilize this club. This is hands down the best set of clubs that I have ever had. The experience has been overwhelmingly a positive one, and I have given your name out repeatedly to those that I come in contact with at my club. Your knowledge of the clubfitting and your craftsmanship is outstanding. Thank you again for all your work.
