2011 Lineup Now Includes Adams Golf!

We have just signed an agreement with Adams Golf to carry their products beginning immediately. Adams just started a program called Pro Tech this year. This program lets qualified clubfitters purchase the heads only (or the complete club) so that they can be truly customized to fit the individual golfers’ needs.

I have been looking at this line of clubs for some time. They have something for everyone from the scratch player to the high handicapper. And the quality and performance can be placed against anything on the market at any price.

So check us out as soon as you can. We have a new look with an incredible product lineup!

New Shaft and Clubs for 2011

In our ongoing attempt to stay current and after listening to our customers we have decided to bring in the following shaft lines for 2011. We will add Matrix, Accra and Enzo to our current offerings. As far as clubs we will bring in Mizuno, Titleist, Callaway and Taylormade. At this point we intend to have demos in irons for these companies and will order drivers and fairway woods upon request. Our goal is to meet the needs of every golfer we possibly can and hopefully put the fun back in the game for many. Thanks as always. Don

Remodel for 2011!

For 2011 we will be doing some remodeling here at Country Acres Custom Golf. The fitting area is in the process of being enclosed so we can do work year round. Thanks to the loyal customers we are growing at a tremendous rate. Hopefully we will have the area enclosed by February of 2011. This will allow us to do fittings year round and also possibly rent space in the cold months for practice with the benefit of the launch monitor watching so a player can monitor his performance and improve his game.

Country Acres adds Rife Putters to lineup!

Country Acres Custom Golf has added the popular line of Rife putters to our list of upscale golf clubs we carry. We will stock several models. Putters come in uncut and ungripped. Included with each sale will be a basic putter fitting and then each putter will be cut to proper length and bent to proper lie, in keeping with the goal of ‘The Fit Is It!!’. New Equipment for 2010!!

In our ongoing effort to stay up with the latest technology we have decided to purchase an EDH Flightscope Kudu launch monitor this year. This is a three phase array radar launch monitor and is one of the most accurate models available. With three phase radar the monitor has the ability to triangulate on an object and give very reliable feedback as to what is happening with it at all times during the ball flight. It not only has the ability to track the ball but can track the club as well. This means it can tell us the path of the club on the backswing and the forward swing as well as where the clubhead is at impact, open, closed or square. This allows us to make solid decisions based on the data. As a result of this purchase it will be necessary to raise fitting fees to $85. We feel you will find that it will be well worth it! Hole in One on 250 yard par 4!!

I wanted to let you know that I had a hole in one today while playing in a scramble with Matt Hefley (who you also built some clubs for). It was on a short par 4 (250 yards) at Fairfield Country Club. With a little wind at the back I used a 4 iron and it hit on the green, released a little, and then we never saw it! Hole in one and double eagle all on the same hole. We ended up shooting 13 under for the day. Thanks again for the clubs.

Michael Molt II is 16 years old and a sophmore at Fairfield Community High School. Michael is another lefty and began his Junior Golf career at age 7. We are pleased to say that he has always used clubs that were customized by Country Acres Golf. Listed below are the accomplishments Michael achieved for the 2008 season:

Placed 29th out of 80 players in International field @ Little Peoples Golf Tourney in Quincy IL

7th at Country Youth Classic in Bloomington IL — This is the 4th largest Jr. tourney in the nation

1st at first Annual William Malone Tournament at Craab Orchard

1st at Ram Jam Jr. Tournament – Green Hills Golf Club

2nd at Nashville IL Jr. Tournament

High School Season with Fairfield Mules:

2nd @ Fairfield Jr.

3rd @ Future Champs at Crab Orchard

Co-Most Valuable Player with lowest 9 hole match average of 37.47

2nd @ Newton 12 Team Invitational (72 Players) – shot +1 73 with 3 under 33 on front

Tied for 9th at Black Diamond Conference Tourney at Green Hills

The Mules won Team Championship at both Newton and BDC tourneys

As you can see Michael had a very successful season. Michael gets instruction from Steve Heckle PGA Pro and his high school coach Brent Sutton. Also, Michael’s dad is a huge influence as is his “Team Manager”and Mom Patty Molt. Michael has a swing that any of us would be proud to have.

We wish Mike continued success for the upcoming season. With the right clubs, the teaching, hard work and the current support system he has, he should expect another outstanding year!
